Pauline McCall

Honea Path – Mattie Pauline Alewine McCall, 87, widow of James Sylvester McCall, Sr., of 763 Princeton Hwy, went to meet her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 7, 2014.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late William Crayton and Hannah Vaughn Alewine. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving are: four children, Sylvia Farmer of Laurens, Jimmy McCall and wife Lynn, James McCall Jr., and Shirley Cooley, all of Honea Path; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Hendricks and Rev. Tab Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
