Honea Path – Ms. Margaret Franks, 89, of Sherwood Dr., Honea Path, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at her home.
Ms. Franks was born in Laurens, SC on March 13, 1925 to the late Clarance Adason and Jeanette Harper Franks. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Maurice’s BBQ in Columbia, SC.
She leaves behind her daughters, Jeannie Bryant of Honea Path, Claire Kimbrell of Midland, TX, and Benny Capps of Rock Hill, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
