Born in Tyndall AFB, Panama City, Fl., she was a daughter of Addie McClain New and the late George Thomas New. She was formerly employed by Walmart.
Surviving are her mother of Belton, a son, John Michael Thomas New of Columbia, four brothers, Roy McClain of McCormick, Leonard McClain of Greenville, Terry McClain of Pickens, and George New of Belton, two sisters, Rhonda Kelley and Christie New, both of Greenville, and her Ex-husband Timothy Paul Cliett of Augusta, Ga. She was predeceased by a sister, Linda Sue New.
Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Honea Path with Rev. Richard Corbin officiating. The family is at the home of her mother, Addie New,
