Honea Path – Rosa Lee Holliday Mattison, 90, widow of William Ray Mattison, formerly of 9 N. Anderson Cr., died Wednesday in Fountain Inn.
Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Frady and Maggie Coker Holliday. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was retired from the Torrington Company.
Surviving are her son, Dr. Eddy Mattison and wife Donna of Fountain Inn and a brother, Charles Holliday of Honea Path. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, F.L. “Buck” Holliday and Ernest Holliday and a sister Lucille Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Dr. Eddy Mattison officiating. Private burial will be held later at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
