Anderson – Helen Marilynn McCain Billow, 89, of 189 Asaville School Road, widow of Clyde Billow, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Mt. Herman, New Jersey, She was a daughter of the late James Wilbert and Fannie Bailey McCain Gibson. She was a member of Asaville Baptist Church, and formerly a member of Mt. Herman Methodist Church where she served as organist until 1985 and a member of Hope Fire Company Auxillary. She worked as a teller for 1st National Bank of Hope in New Jersey for 40 years.
Surviving are one son, Andrew James Billow and wife Carol of Blairstown, N.J.; one daughter, Debra L. Snyder and husband (Rich) of Anderson; and two grandchildren, Craig and Lorey Billow. She was predeceased by a brother, Cycil McCain and one sister, Donna Wright.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 2PM at First Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Drew Martin and Rev. Harold Walters officiating. Burial will be in Asaville Baptist Church Cemetery.
