Rhonda Davis

Ware Shoals – Rhonda Lynn Davis, 50, of 154 S. Greenwood Ave., died Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home.

 

 

Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of Linda Pilgrim Davis and the late Earl Wayne Davis. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School and Piedmont Technical College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at Patrick B. Harris Hospital, Ware Shoals Family Practice and Self Regional Healthcare. She had also worked at Piggly Wiggly and Southeast Federal Credit Union. Rhonda loved her family and was a friend to everyone she met.

Surviving in addition to her mother of the home are: a son Luke Davis of the home, a brother, Russell Davis and wife Sally of Ware Shoals, maternal grandmother, Nell Pilgrim of the home, special niece Lindsey Davis and great-niece Audrey Abernathy of Honea Path, special companion David Culbertson, and special friend Melisande Gillespe, both of Ware Shoals. She was predeceased by her father, “Daddy Wayne”.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Byron Wood and Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home. There will be an informal gathering of friends prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 W.
