Frankie Chastine

Ware Shoals – Willie Franklin Chastine, 77, husband of Etta Pauline Weathers Chastine, of 13 Sparks Avenue, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his son’s home in Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Will Ervin and Eunice Owens Chastine. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and was retired from Riegel Textile Corporation.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two sons: Frankie Ray Chastine (Eva) of Ware Shoals and David Earl Chastine of Greenwood; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Chastine was predeceased by one daughter: Paula Annette Moss; one brother: Harold Chastine; and two sisters: Elizabeth Willard and Ann Hardin.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 22, at Parker-White Funeral Home with Minister Keith Tripp officiating.

The family is at the home of a son: Ray Chastine at 3369 Poplar Springs Rd, and will receive friends following the memorial service on Friday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
