Carrie Lee Stickles

Honea Path – Carrie Lee Spradlin Gattis Stickles, 86 widow of Walter Abram Stickles, Jr., died Saturday, May 23rd at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Maryville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Will Spradlin and Eva Crisp Spradlin. She was a retired supervisor at Park Seed and later worked with Piedmont Agency on Aging and was a member of Keowee Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter: Vickie G. Pruitt (Mike) of Honea Path; two sons: Kenneth O. Gattis of Greenwood and Tony Gattis (Joyce) of Anderson; a step-daughter: Cheryl S. Creswell (Barry) of Abbeville; a step-son: Van A. Stickles (Linda) of Elloree; eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by three brothers: Joe Spradlin, Troy Spradlin, and Junior Spradlin; and two sisters: Ruth Harrison and Ruby Moore; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Keowee Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
