Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Lucia Hawkins Jones. She was a member and former Sunday School Class clerk of Jones Chapel Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from Becton-Dickinson.
Surviving are her son, Samuel Micheal Davis and wife Sheila of Honea Path, a brother, Jerry Jones of Belton, six sisters, Faye Jones of Belton, Peg Jones of Belton, Linda Cooley of Belton, Jane Long of Iva, Jean Holloway of Honea Path, and Diane Rodriquez of Honea Path. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Jimmy Jones and a sister, Etrulia Ownbey.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Jones Chapel Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. E. Howard Steen and Rev. Keith Crocker officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
