Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Henry and Ollie Ophelia Duckett Hyler. She was a member of the Honea Path Church of God of Prophecy and was a retired nurse’s aid at Helping Hands Home Care.
Surviving are two sons, John R. Bush of Honea Path and David W. Bush (Faye) of Honea Path; two daughters, JoAnne Brown of Honea Path and Gloria Meeks (Donald) of Adrian, Ga.; a sister, Jeanette Bundrick of Chapin; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was pre-deceased by four brothers, E.J. Hyler, Duke Hyler, Ernest Henry Hyler and Richard Boughknight, and three sisters, Willie Mae McDaniel, Virginia Moates, and Helen Livingston.
Graveside services will be held at Rosemont Cemetery, Newberry at 2 PM Wednesday with Rev. Eddie Bledsoe officiating.
