Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Cliff “Doc” and Daisy Richey McGaha. She was a member of Honea Path 1st Assembly of God, and was retired from Chiquola Mills. She was a devout Christian, and was a faithful caregiver to her mother, father, brothers, and her whole family.
Surviving are two great-nephews: Steven McGaha (Charlette) of Belton and Robert McGaha (Melissa) of Honea Path; one great-niece: Kathy Sutherland (Sean) of Honea Path; three great-great-nephews: Bradley McGaha, James McGaha, and Justin McGaha; and four great-great-nieces: Tessa McGaha, Cortney McGaha, Samantha McGaha, and Cheryl Sutherland.
She was pre-deceased by three brothers: Doc Junior McGaha, Lewis McGaha, and J.T. McGaha.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15 at Honea Path 1st Assembly of God, with Rev. Andrew Overby, Steven McGaha, and Rev. Carol Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of a nephew, Robert McGaha, 109 Beauregard Dr., and will receive friends Monday from 6-8 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home.
