Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Floyd and Lena Blanchett Walker. She attended Barker’s Creek Baptist Church, and was a former employee of Bosch.
Ms. Walker is survived by two sisters: Christine Walker of the home and Betty Dixon of Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 4th at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville.
The family is at the home of Faye Burton, 111 Joe Burton Rd., Honea Path, and will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
