Born in Goose Creek, she was a daughter of Helen Jean Osborne Burroughs and the late James Hershel Burroughs. She was of Baptist faith and was retired from Walmart Distribution Center in Laurens.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are, a son Brandon Paul White (Brooke) of Hodges, two daughters, Andrea LaShae Garmon (Grant) of Asheville, Tiffany Marie Schaffer (Dennis) of Columbia, two sisters, Donna Gragg of Spartanburg and Beverly Bumgardner of Ware Shoals and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother James Burroughs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends 12-2 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at Parker-White Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to March of Dimes, 37 Villa Rd. Suite 217 B-123, Greenville, SC 29615.
