Born in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late David Weston Hoitt and Bertha Bell Smith Ashley. She was a member of Donalds Church of God and retired from the Metric Shirt Plant.
Surviving are: four sons, Donnie Ray (Mildred) Todd of Belton, Doug (Vickie) Todd and Robert (Sheila) Todd, both of Honea Path, and Charles Todd of Belton, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Ray Todd and three brothers, Theo, Hiott, and Wesley Ashley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Christmas and Rev. Bennie Dyar officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church cemetery.
