Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late James Everettt and Mary Anderson Maddden. He was a member of Mt.Gallagher Baptist Church and was retired as a Brick Mason.
Surviving are a son, Floyd Lester Madden, Jr. (Melissa) of Griffin, GA, and two sisters, Pat Gaines and Brenda Madden of Ware Shoals, a special brother-in-law Earl Madden, three nephews Anthony and Andrew Gaines and Jamie Madden, three nieces, Misty and Shelly Gaines and Angel Hughes. He was pre-deceased by three brothers, Robert, Bobby, and Jesse Madden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop and Rev. Chris Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
