Earl Pace

Ware Shoals – Earl Eugene Pace, 89, widower of Martha Brock Pace, formerly of 215 Cothran Rd., passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Laurens County Hospice House, surrounded by his family.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Robert and Minnie Viola Cannon Pace. Mr. Pace was a member of Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was a self employed mechanic.

He is survived by two sons: Rickey Pace of Ware Shoals and Kenneth Pace and wife Caryn of Decherd, TN; two daughters: Betty Jean Long and husband James of Greenwood and Martha Faye Alexander of Green Bay, WI; five grandchildren: Gail Jones of Greenwood, Lynn Beck of Augusta, GA, Jennifer Higdon of Greenville, Chris Alexander of Green Bay, WI, and Miranda Alexander of Green Bay, WI; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pace is preceded in death by one brother: Broadus Pace.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 11, 3:00 PM at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Compton officiating.

The family is at the home of a daughter, Betty Jean Long, 710-A Bucklevel Rd, Greenwood, and will receive friends Thursday from 12-2 PM at Parker-White Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.
