Born February 14, 1938 in Bradenton, FL to James Albert and Laura Ione Dodson Kay, Sally was a granddaughter of Charles Marshall and Sallie Isabella Robinson Kay. A 1956 graduate of Manatee Co. High school, Sally attended Fla. State University and Baylor University.
Upon moving to Dallas in 1972 she was a member for many years of First Baptist, Richardson where she played violin in the orchestra. Sally worked at the J C Penny Quality Assurance lab.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by five children, John (Deborah), Jared (Stacie), JT, Janna and Joel Cameron (Carolyn), six grandchildren, one step granddaughter, two step great-grandchildren and her brother Jerry Albert Kay of Atlanta and Rabun Co., GA.
A family interment of her Cremains alongside her parents and near other Kay family will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1 pm at East View Cemetery in Honea Path, SC. Online Condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
