Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Silas M. and Carrie Stone Cooley. She was a faithful member of Keowee Baptist Church and retired from The Torrington Co.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby Ashley (Deborah) of Honea Path and Clyde Ashley III of Honea Path, a daughter, Melba Brown (Mark) of Honea Path, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Haynie Ashley, a brother, Clyde Cooley, and a sister, Frances Gilreath.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Lee officiating.
