Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Richey Ashley. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 29 years of the home are: two sons, Don Lowe of Craytonville and Lannie (Suzanne) Lowe of Belton, her step-daughter, Tracy (Frankie) Smith of Honea Path, a sister, Wilma (Don) Tumblin of Hickory Tavern, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Lee and Rev. Jerry Mize officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
