Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Ernest Caleb and Willie Mae Rooks Horne. He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church, Center Lodge #37 A.F.M., and was a Lifetime Charter Member and Past President of the Sundown Riders MC.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, William Micheal Horne, Jr..(Janice) of Honea Path and Barry Horne (Kelli) of Honea Path, a daughter, Mechelle Doolittle (Jack) of Belton, a sister, Judy Trussell of Anderson, twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2016 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Byron Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
