Born in Cleveland County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Franklin and Lucy Mae Sanders Jonas. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was retired from Oxford Shirt Plant of Belton.

Surviving are two daughters, Joanna O. Culbertson of Belton and Faye A. Barras (Bennie) of Summerville, a brother Walter Dale Jonas of Greenville, two grandchildren, Lara Wrenn and Paul Culbertson, and two great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Larry Eugene Owen, four brothers, James, Tom, Bobby, and Donald Jonas, and two sisters, Delia Green and Jeanette Tilley.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family is at her home and will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service.
