Lillian Ford

Honea Path – Lillian Thompson Ford, 93, widow of Fred W. Ford, of Honea Path, went to be with the Lord, July 20, 2017.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Lodie and Mary Jane Ridgeway Thompson. She was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church and was retired from Chiquola Mfg. Co.

Surviving are a son, Jimmy Fred Ford (Edna) of Honea Path, two daughters, Shirley King (Roger) of Belton, and Gayle White (Charlie) of Clemson, two brothers, Alvis Thompson of Gray Court and Steve Thompson of Waterloo, three sisters, Mabel Mobley of Mauldin, Laura Armstrong of Ft. Inn, and Myrtis Woods of Honea Path, seven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by three brothers, James, Leland, and Norman Thompson and two sisters, Beatrice McCall and Waltha Traynham.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson, Rev. Scot Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 P.M. prior to the service.
