Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late George Allen and Edna Elizabeth Johnson Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by one brother: Keith Smith of Princeton; one uncle: Robert Earl Richey of Honea Path; one nephew: Bronson Smith and wife Erica of Abbeville; and one niece: Brooke Smith of Belton.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Michael E. Smith and one sister: Donna Marie Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 23 at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Homer Gilmer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
