Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Dollie Taylor Poore. She was a member of Barker’s Creek Baptist Church, and was retired from Chiquola Manufacturing Co.
Ms. Poore is survived by a sister-in-law: Lib Poore of Honea Path; a nephew: Bill Poore (Becky) of Honea Path; a niece: Theresa Shaw (Larry) of Starr; two grand-nephews: T.J. Shaw of Starr and Will Poore of Honea Path; one grand-niece: Katie Poore of Honea Path; and a special friend: Delbert Satterfield of Honea Path.
She was preceded in death by one brother: William Poore.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Barker’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Taylor and Rev. Arnold Hiette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is a the home of her sister-in-law, Lib Poore, at 303 Poore Rd, and will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 PM at the church, prior to the service.
