Eloise Parker

CalhounFalls – Eloise Thompson Parker, 104, widow of James H. Parker died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Bethel Gardens in Power Springs, Ga.

Born in Bulloch County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late William Fredrick and Bennie Smith Thompson. She was a long time member of Northside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, GA’s, and was former treasurer. She was also a member of  The Order of the Eastern Star and the Legion Auxiliary. She worked with her husband, Jimmy, for many years at Parker Funeral Home.  

Surviving are two sons, Robert “Ken” Parker (Lane) of Easley and Gary A. Parker (Nancy) of Powder Springs, Ga., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017  at 2 P.M. at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Mike McMinn and Rev. Jerry Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at her home, and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M at Northside Baptist Church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 201 Marion St., Calhoun Falls, SC 29628.
