Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Samuel Marion and Bessie Lollis Davis. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Dr. Michael Harold Davis (Christina) of Seneca, and two grandchildren, Greyson and Canden Davis.
He was pre-deceased by ten brothers, John C., Malcolm, Jim, Herbert, George, Louie, Troy, Webster, Clayton, and Junior Davis and two sisters, Gladys Brock and Frances Clamp.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. Ryan Steed and Rev. Shane Donald officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
