Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Willis Prue and Grace Myrtle Murdock Young. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church and was retired from Hale Manufacturing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are: two daughters, Deanna (Billy) Morse of Greenwood, and Dianna (Billy) Fisher of Honea Path, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and special cousin, JoAnn Sims of the home. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Richey.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Rhodes officiating. Burial will be private.
