Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Hiram Lee and Josephine Stewart Walls. She was a member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church and was retired from Monsanto.
Surviving are a son, David Hembree (Tammy) of Ware Shoals, two daughters, Teresa Medlin (John) of Ware Shoals and Gayle Youngblood (Dean) of Union Mills, N.C., five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.She was pre-deceased by a son Eric Jonathan Hembree and a brother Hiram Keith Walls.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church prior to the service. In Leiu of Flowers memorials may be made to Mt.
