Born in Ware Shoals, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Marie Sons Amick. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and she retired as a nurse at Med Central of Anderson. She had worked as a nurse for many years at Ware Shoals Family Practice.
She is survived by one son, Brad Black (Debbi) of Honea Path. She has 2 grandchildren, Casey Black (Kimberly) and Bradley Black (Quentan), along with 6 great grandchildren, Ethan, Carter, Cabot, Jaxon, Adaline and A.P. She was pre-deceased by a sister Tenny Pruitt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev Archie Sharp officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home in Honea Path. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 220 Friendship Church Rd. Online condolences may be made to www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
