Born in Oconee County, she was the adopted daughter of Naomi Barker Yarbrough and the late Bobby E. Yarbrough. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church, and worked as a medical receptionist at AnMed Health. She enjoyed music, movies, and trips to the mountains.
In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Wengerd is survived by two sons: Tyler Wengerd and wife Tiffany of Anderson and Brandon Wengerd of the home; one brother: Bobby Keith Yarbrough; and one sister: Kimberly Yarbrough of Honea Path.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Honea Path First Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Dickerson and Rev. Jamie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
