Ronnie Seawright

Donalds – Ronald Gaines Seawright, 64, husband of Jenny Padgett Seawright of Donalds, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Born in Belton, he was a son of the late Charles Samuel and Nell Vaughn Seawright. He was a member of Greenville Presbyterian Church. Ronnie graduated from Dixie High School and attended Lander University. He began his work career as a brick mason along side his father and later worked for Pirelli Cable, Dunn and Dunn, Inc. and Carolina Ford. Ronnie was a man of many talents which he used to bless countless people. He was a jack of all trades. He loved to garden, play the piano, construct, fix and supervise various projects. Many people’s daily routine will be interrupted by the loss of Ronnie. If he wasn’t making his rounds in Donalds visiting family and friends, he could be found holding court on his own front porch. Above all, he was a loving and faithful husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Seawright is survived by three daughters: Cayce Prescott (Paul) of Donalds, Katherine Frizelle (Patrick) of Charleston, and Samantha Cann (Adam) of Donalds; one sister: Vickie Seawright Milford (Andy) of Abbeville; and five grandchildren: Ansley Prescott, Rachel Prescott, Jack Frizelle, Samuel Frizelle, and Becca Lynn Cann.

He is preceded in death by a sister: Linda Seawright Wilson, and brother-in-law Mikel Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Greenville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Pitman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Greenville Presbyterian Church, Box 157, Donalds, SC 29638. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.
