Alison Hale

Honea Path – Alison Jackson Hale, 64, of Honea Path, widow of Fred Carnese Hale, died Sunday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hendersonville, N.C. she was a daughter of the late Edward Herbert and Frances Blackwell Jackson. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired as Director of Quality Management from Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital.

Surviving are a son, Jonathan Griffin Hale (Lorraine Lim-Chua) of Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter, Sydney Hale Edwards (Luke) of Anderson, five sisters, Alice Major (Sam) of Inman, Winatha Gilreath (Steve) of Belton, Myra Olsen of Easley, Melissa Day of Homerville, Ga., and Patricia Peek (Bryan) of Asheville, N.C.,  five grandchildren, Declan Chua Hale, Norah Chua Hale, Griffin Mark Edwards, Coleman Jackson Edwards, and Calhoun James Edwards.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gayle Summey officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 10 to 12 on Wednesday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
