Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Andy Malachi and Pearl Barringer Tucker. She was of the Baptist faith, and was retired. Mrs. Barnhardt was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
In addition to her husband of 51 years, she is survived by one son: Allen Barnhardt (Teresa) of Belton; one daughter: Tracy Barnhardt (Dusty Glenn) of Fair Play, SC; three brothers: Mallie, Gary and Oscar Tucker and four sisters: Mary Morrison, Karen Ragan, Lynn Tucker and Jean Carswell, all of the Charlotte area; and five grandchildren: Zach, Christopher, Leah, Samantha and Cody.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Carl Tucker; and one sister: Ann McIntosh.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 11, at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stacey Griffis officiating.
