Quinn Seawright

William Quinn Seawright, 59, husband of Leah Wilson Seawright, of Austin Road, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga. after several months of declining health.

Born in Anderson he was a son of Peggy Stribbling Seawright and the late Frank Locke Seawright. He was a former member of Honea Path Presbyterian Church and attended Barkers Creek Baptist Church. He was a 1976 graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School where he lettered in golf for five years. He graduated from Erskine College in 1980 with a B.S. Degree in Business where he played collegiate golf. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, his Old Hemlock Setters and the University of Georgia football.

Surviving are his wife of the home,  his mother of Honea Path, a son, Matthew Seawright  and a daughter, Allison Seawright, both of the home, a sister, Vicki Seawright Hall (William) of Honea Path. He is also survived by his aunts, Barbara Carr of Greenwood and Gloria Barton (Lennie) of Durham, N.C.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, August 3, 2018  at Barkers Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Honea Path City Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday at Barkers Creek Baptist Church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Gideons International, Belton- Honea Path Camp, Box 733, Belton, SC 29627, or to Barkers Creek Baptist Church, 3207 Highway 252, Honea Path, S.C. 29654
