Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Albert Charlie “AC” and Prather Janice Bratcher Brock. He was of the Baptist faith and was formerly employed at Timkin for 27 years.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Honea Path are: his brother, Roger (Betty Hogan) Brock of Honea Path; his sister, Wanda (Dennis) Alewine of Waterloo; two nieces, Ami (Ryan) Gambrell of Honea Path, and Shannon (Ken) Quarles of Waterloo; two great-nephews, Kaleb Gambrell and Alec Quarles; two great-nieces, Adrienne and Alivia McWhorter, and special friend, Tammy Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the Ernest J. Brock old home place, 7997 Brock Circle, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
