He was pre-deceased by a sister Sherry Lynn Suit.

Bobby Suit was a man of many names and talents! He was a coach to many and a friend to all. His love of baseball and softball will forever live on in the hearts of the many kids he has coached over the years. Not only was he a coach, but he was an awesome musician and songwriter and even better guitar player! He was an amazing carpenter! He went back to college in his late 50’s and graduated from Piedmont Technical College and then Lander University with a perfect GPA, graduating summa cum laude. He could be found wearing his Chuck Taylor’s on any given day, helping someone in need! He was an inspiration to everyone who met him!
Of the many names that he was called, being called Baboo was one of his favorites. This was the name that was given to him by his grandchildren and he will forever be remembered as the best Baboo anyone could ever ask for! From the great game of backer-sack to treasure hunts and tie-dyed shirts, he made any day with Baboo an exciting day to remember! He may only have fourteen grandchildren, but he was Baboo to any child he met and he made every child feel like they were special and loved!

He requested to not have a funeral or memorial service, but instead the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bobby “Baboo” Suit Scholarship Fund at Abbeville Youth Athletics at 404 North Main Street, Abbeville, SC 29620. This fund will help underprivileged children in Abbeville County have the opportunity to play sports and be part of a team.
