Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late Clyde and Irene Tinsley Fricks. He was of the Church of God faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two sisters, Polly Pope (Stan) of Ninety Six and Nancy Campbell of Ware Shoals, a sister-in-law, Patti Huff of Fountain Inn, and numerous nieces and nephews including Rebecca Phillips of Hickory Tavern. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Thomas Wayne Fricks and two sisters, Sue Brown and Vickie Fricks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Keith Fields and Rev. Mark Lowe officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Pathway House, Box 49723, Greenwood SC 29649. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
