Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Harper and Ouida Louise Herring Partain. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a retired Hair Stylist having served the Greenwood Area for many years.
Surviving are her husband of the home, two daughters, Renita Allen (Jason) of Waterloo and Lisa Norton of Anderson, a brother, Terry Partain (Pat) of Anderson, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a son, Larry Brian Smith and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hellams, Rev. Tommy Wooten, and Rev. Chris Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 P.M. Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Mt.
