Born in Greenville County, he was the son of James Clarence “JC” and Katherine Eugenia Pressley Ashley. He was a member of Princeton Baptist Church and formerly worked at Cryovac-Simpsonville. Randal was a member of Princeton Lodge #129 A.F.M., the Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and Hejaz Shrine Temple.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are: his son, Christian Randal Ashley, his daughter, Emily Grace Ashley, and two sisters, Susan (Ricky) Mewborn and Mandy (Markus) Vinson.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Columbia Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Gambrell officiating.
The family is at the home of his wife, 14318 Hwy 25, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
