Charlie Orvin

Waterloo – Charlie Albert Orvin, 68, husband of Felicia Reese Orvin, of Indian Mound Road, died Monday July 22, 2019 at his home.

Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late Charlie W. Orvin and Beulah Burgess Chapman Orvin. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was a farmer. He was also a member of the Laurens County Master Gardeners and Laurens County Bee Keepers.

In addition to his wife of the home and his mother, Mr. Orvin is survived by four sons, Kevin Albert Orvin (Sarrah) of Laurens, Joseph Wayne Anderson II (Lea Beth) of Eupora, MS, John David Anderson (Jessica) of Gonzales, LA, Van Lee Anderson (Shellie) of French Camp, MS, one daughter, Christy Orvin Partin (Larry) of Union City, IN, Two sisters, Barbara Orvin Crawford (Michael) of Fountain Inn, Katraina Orvin Hall of Honea Path, ten grandchildren, Kevin Lane Orvin, Cody Lee Orvin, Kelly Faye Orvin, Karrah Brooke Orvin, David Reese Anderson (Heaven), Emmit Wayne Anderson, Caroline Grace Anderson, Jordan Makala Partin, Alexander Isaiah Anderson, Cooper Van Anderson and one great-grandchild, Angel Renee Anderson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Orvin will be held Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 3 PM at Parker White Funeral Home in the chapel with Rev. Dr Tina Woody, Chaplain at Pruitt Health Hospice, officiating. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
