Jean M. Copelan

Honea Path – Jean Lee Murdock Copelan, 80, of the Maples, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lila Baker Murdock.  She was former owner of Copelan’s Exxon in Abbeville and was of the Baptist faith. 

She is survived by two sons, Micah Able of Belton and Ivan Copelan of Los Angles, CA.,  one daughter, Kelly Wilson of Ooltewah, TN, one brother, Pat Murdock of Union City, TN, two sisters, Charlotte Holland of Honea Path and Shirley Wilson of Belton, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Copelan was preceded in death by her parents, along with one daughter, Linda McElrath, two brothers, Randy and Bill Murdock and one sister, Nancy Crosby.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday, August 5, 2019 at Pruitt Funeral Home.
