Martha “Mot” Porter

Anderson – Martha “Mot” Bernice McCullough Porter, 77, wife of Anthony “Tony” Porter, of Broadway Lake Road, died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Roxie Smith McCullough. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Ministries and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons, Michial (Melissa) Autry of OH, and John Lewis of Abbeville; four daughters, Lynn Fields of Calhoun Falls, Tara (John) Jordan of Anderson, Becky (Marty) Felker of Anderson, and Leslie Dillard of Columbia; four brothers, Bob McCullough of Abbeville, Wade (Sandy) McCullough, Jim (Faye) McCullough, and David (Dranda) McCullough, all of Honea Path; a sister, Ann Boyd of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Brooke, Jamie, Roxie, and Nichole; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Porter is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Georgia Attaway.

Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, September 16, 2019 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Tilley officiating.
