Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Casper and Nellie Bane Ridgeway. She was a loving wife of 64 years and a loving dedicated mother. She was a longtime faithful member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church and was a retired Nurses assistant from Self Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Roger Dale Martin of Ware Shoals, two daughters, Vivian Milillo of Tullahoma, TN., and Audrey Nell Bell (Dennis) of Wakefield RI., a brother, Ray Ridgeway of Sumter, two sisters, Gladys Maddox of Duncan and Ann Siegel of Laurens, nine grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a brother J.P. Ridgeway and two sisters, Julia Traynham and Ethel O’Dell.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 2 PM at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Wiles and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service. In Lieu of Flowers memorials should be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.
