Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Cleo Davis Ables. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God and retired from Blair Mills.
Surviving are: two daughters-in-law, Karen Brock of Honea Path and Kay Brock of Abbeville; her brother, Jimmy (Joyce) Ables of Honea Path; her sister, Bessie Allen of Greenwood, three grandchildren, Tracy (Jimbo) Lowe, Alicia (Jeff) Dover, and Krystal (Michael) Alewine; and her great-granddaughter, Mary Grace Lowe.
Mrs. Brock is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Eddie Brock and Tyrone Brock; three brothers, Harold Ables, Leonard Ables, and Troy Ables; and four sisters, Grace Caldwell, Gladys Jennings, Nellie Phillps, and Zadie Rowland.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
