Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Emma Lucille Hill Scott. She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Riegel Textile Co. She was a loving mother and excellent cook and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
Surviving are a son Larry Malone of Peachtree Corners, GA, and two brothers, Pete Scott of Lake Charles, LA and Joe Scott of Brazoria, TX. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Scott and James Scott, and a sister, Clara Scott James.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating.
