Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late J.D. Cathcart and Marion Bowman Medlock.
Surviving are two daughters Heather (Scott) Pilgrim and Jennifer (Brent) Barrett, both of Ware Shoals and four grandchildren: Abby Pilgrim, Kade Pilgrim, Caylin Barrett and Kiera Barrett. She is also survived by one brother, Alvin Dixie “Dickie” Cathcart (Debbie) of Greenwood. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Shewbert, a sister Donna Sue “Penny” Shewbert, and a granddaughter, Hope Olivia Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, December 19 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.
