Susan McCollum

Honea Path – Susan Jane Epps McCollum, 64, of North Shirley Avenue, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. James William and Rachel Loyd Epps. She was a member and co-founder of Bread of Life Tabernacle of Belton. She was an original member of The Epps Family gospel group.

Surviving are: her son, Jonathan (Sarah) Crawford of Kings Mountain, NC; her daughter, Stephanie McCollum of the home; a brother, Rev. Mike (Deborah) Epps of Belton; two sisters, Diane Collins and Mary (Ronnie) Arflin, both of Belton; two grandchildren, Hannah Crawford and Olivia Crawford; and special nieces and nephews, Rachel, Hannah, Ayden, Londyn, and Harper Elaine.

Ms. McCollum is preceded in death by a brother, Haynie Epps.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Bread of Life Tabernacle of Belton with Rev. Mike Epps, Rev. Norman Bayne and Rev. Jerry Varner officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
