Eva Workman

Eva Jane Stewart Workman, 99, a resident of The Maples, widow of the late Lawrence Monroe Workman, died Wednesday, Decmeber 18, 2019 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

 

Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Era Bradley and Nora Duncan Stewart. She was a member of Princeton Baptist Church, and a resident of Princeton for most of her life. She worked in textiles, and was retired from Riegel Textile Corporation.

Mrs. Workman is survived by two sons: Lawrence Kenneth Workman and wife Pat of Greenville, and Roger Workman and wife Jackie of Donalds; one daughter: Jane Johnson and husband Walter of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren: Kent Workman and wife Kim of Charlotte, NC, Scott Workman and wife Nona of Asheville, NC, and Will Johnson and wife Leanne of Mobile, AL; and two great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by five brothers: Paul, Milford, Clyde, Marvin, and John Stewart; and one sister: Sarah Chastain.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Gardens’ mausoleum chapel with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating.
