Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Evoid Thomas “ET” and Lodemia Treadway McLane. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and formerly worked at J. P. Stevens.
Mrs. Pitts is survived by her husband and a sister, Joann (Jimmy) Stancil of Seneca and a daughter-in-law, Melanie Pitts of Belton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Pitts and a sister, Barbara Black.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Greg Black officiating.
