Hannah Brewington

Honea Path – Hannah Lynn Brewington, 29, of Calhoun Street, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta GA.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Terry Warren Brewington of Honea Path and Dana Jean (Jeff) Wilson Abercrombie of Honea Path. She was a member of Chiquola Methodist Church, a graduate of BHP High School Class of 2008, and attained an Associates Degree from Piedmont Technical College.

Hannah was a Surgical Technologist at AnMed Health Medical Center in Labor and Delivery, a job that was her passion and where she dearly loved all her co-workers. She was a strong willed person who put her all into everything she did. Hannah was proud to be known as a cancer survivor.

Surviving in addition to her parents are: her beloved boyfriend, Austin Nixon of Anderson; her brother, Jake Brewington of Honea Path; two step-brothers, Neil (Jessica) Abercrombie of Conway and Brian Abercrombie of Abbeville; her sister, Terra (Wes Ambrose) Brewington of Honea Path, her maternal grandmother, Betty Wilson of Honea Path; her paternal grandfather, Raymond Brewington of Honea Path; and her loving fur baby, Augustus.

Hannah was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Rev. Daniel Wilson, her paternal grandmother, Betty Brewington, and a step-brother, Matthew McCuen.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Chiquola Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to The American Cancer Society Charleston Hope Lodge, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
